I am a geography doctoral student, and I would like you to make a landscape transect as follows: from 0 m to 400 m altitude there is a vegetation formation composed of mangroves or mango trees 5m to 12m high (mangrove) on the coast where the temperature varies between 27.5°C and 26.1°C in Hahaya, Domwa Mbwani in the North of the island, Itsambuni (Moroni) and Ikoni in the center, Shindini and Uropveni in the South. This is the area where Moroni, Mde, Vuvuni, and Ikoni are located between 0 and 250m (topographic-map.com). The high zone between 400m and 800m altitude is occupied by degraded forest such as Aceraceae, a plant about 5m to 30m high that does not tolerate temperatures below 22°C. The mountainous zone between 800m and 1600m altitude is dominated by tree ferns of the Cyatheales order. These ferns, 2m to 3m high, develop in an area where the temperature varies between 19°C and 12°C. Woody plants are found in the giant heath zone between 1600m and 2400m altitude, such as thickets between 13°C and 10°C.
